The Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College
Chris Needham-Bennett, MD of Needhams 1834, is an Associate Course Director at the Emergency Planning College. He has delivered a number of Strategic Crisis Management courses and exercises on behalf of the College.
Needhams also has a partnership agreement with Agusta Westland to deliver 'Project Gold Standard' Crisis Management exercises to Category 1 Responders throughout the UK on behalf of the Emergency Planning College.

Needhams 1834 is a Bronze level partner of the BCI and we are committed to its standards and practices.
Universities
Needhams is committed to the advancement of Business Continuity as an academic discipline and has strong links with a number of leading Universities and Business Schools. In particular, we are currently engaged in the following projects:
- Needhams is a corporate sponsor of a major Business Continuity research programme at Liverpool Management School; and
- Katherine Devitt is conducting Doctoral research into "Effective Strategic Leadership of Multi-Agency Critical Incident Response Teams" at Portsmouth University.
