An Invitation to Needhams 1834 Business Continuity Open Evenings

We would like to invite you to attend an Open Evening at the Army and Navy Club, St. James's Square. They are a great opportunity for BC professionals to meet and discuss topical issues with Needhams consultants and other industry experts.

Events are scheduled for the following dates in 2008:

• 25th September
• 6th November

At each of these Open Evenings we arrange for an industry professional to deliver a short presentation from a different aspect of Business Continuity and Resilience. These regular Open Evenings start at 5.30pm, with refreshments served until 7.30pm, and provide the opportunity for BC professionals and practitioners to meet and discuss issues together and with Needhams consultants.

Open Evening

Our next open evening is on the 25th September when Professor Dominic Elliott will be guest speaker. The title of Dominic's talk is 'How useful is Benchmarking in Business Continuity Management?'. Dominic's recent research has been broadly concerned with organisational learning from crisis. He has published many articles and books in the fields of Strategic and Crisis Management and Business Continuity, most recently in the Journal of Management Studies and Management Learning. He is currently Editor of the Academic Journal - Risk Management: An International Journal.
