Your Invitation to our Open Evenings

We would like to invite BC specialists and implementers to attend an Open Evening at the Army and Navy Club, St. James's Square. They are a great opportunity for BC professionals to meet and discuss topical issues with Needhams consultants and other industry experts.

At each of these Open Evenings we arrange for an industry professional to deliver a short presentation from a different aspect of Business Continuity and Resilience. These regular Open Evenings start at 5.30pm, with refreshments served until 7.30pm, and provide the opportunity for BC professionals and practitioners to meet and discuss issues together and with Needhams 1834 consultants.

Our next Open Evening:

  Thursday 07 October 2010 @ 17h30-20h00

Guest Speaker : Roger Gomm - Metropolitan Police Service

If you would like to join us and attend one of our Open Evenings, please email us at: enquiry@needhams1834.com. Alternatively phone us on +44 (0)20 7353 9498.

Business Continuity Practitioners Forum

(09h00-17h00)

Venue : Army & Navy Club, 36-39 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5JN

  • The Business Continuity Practitioners Forum takes place annually. This is a new kind of event that will define the future with leaders in the Business Continuity community.

  • Open to all business continuity practitioners and incident managers, the forum is presented as an exercise throughout the duration of the day, during which delegates receive a series of injects as the scenario unfolds. At each stage, they need to consider the steps they need to take to protect their staff, reputation and business activities.

  • Participants are guided towards better practice by panels of industry experts from government, emergency services, in-house peers and subject matter experts.

  • With the excitement of a live event, delegates of all experience levels will leave the event with a better knowledge of how to manage an incident.

Special Interest Groups

Throughout the course of 2010 and 2011, Needhams will be facilitating sector-specific Business Continuity Special Interest Group workshops, directly addressing the challenges that each sector faces. These free-to-attend half day workshops, held in London, are for all personnel involved in the prosecution of Business Continuity in their organization: including BC managers, IT and Communication staff, Facilities and Security, Human Resources and Strategic leads.

All workshops are delivered by subject matter experts and your peers in the sector, with reference to BS25999 standards where relevant; and focus on the challenges and ways to embed Business Continuity in the organisation.

If you feel that any of the Special Interest Groups workshops would be relevant for you, please contact us for more details on james@needhams1834.com
