Tim Dalby-Welsh seems to be having an incredible start to the summer. Having recently been shortlisted for the CIR Business Continuity Awards, he found out last week that he won the BCI Europe Newcomer of the Year Award 2017.
The awards ceremony was held at The Principal Hotel in Edinburgh, which sadly Tim could not attend due to being abroad, working on-site with a client. He was up against some stiff competition with consultants shortlisted from Nestle (Germany), Arup, Goffin Consulting and Mitsubishi UFG Investor Services.
In this category the Judges were looking for an enthusiastic approach to the discipline, passion for the industry and innovative ideas on how to implement and embed good practice in business continuity and resilience either within their own, or client, organisations. Above all, however, they were hoping to see potential for intellectual and professional development and tried to spot an innovator and leader of the future. Entries showed any relevant professional credentials gained and examples of contributions made to the growth of the discipline. These are all qualities we are proud to have publicly recognised in our consultants.
