Course Outline: The Needhams 1834 Crisis Command course provides delegates with an understanding of dealing with crisis situations and methods of effective command and control during an incident.
Suitable For: Business Continuity Managers, those who have responsibility designing, running and supporting Crisis Command Centres and anyone who will be leading, controlling or decision making during an incident.

Course Overview:
  • Understand the characteristics of incident, crisis and disaster
  • Understand roles and responsibilities at all levels of a crisis management structure in an organisation
  • Learn to devise a strategy in a crisis
  • Learn to be effective in a crisis management team (CMT) involved in command, control and decision making in a crisis
  • Learn to set up and operate an effective crisis command centre (CCC)
  • Learn to apply effective stakeholder management techniques in advance of and during a crisis
  • Understand responsibilities and operations of emergency services
