Andrew MacLeod awarded MSc

We are pleased to congratulate our Director, Andrew MacLeod, on being awarded a first-class Master of Science degree in Resilience from Cranfield University.

Practitioners and policy makers need the leadership, management and technical skills to respond to disruptive challenges within their organisations and in wider society.  The MSc Resilience is aimed at developing analytical capacity in the context of global and UK based security challenges, and human-made and natural disasters.

The core modules provided an introduction to the contemporary definitions of resilience in its various forms and applications, with elective modules allowing exploration of areas of particular interest, where the concept of resilience can be applied to real world problems.

Andrew’s dissertation was titled ‘Are leadership and learning indicators of resilience?’ and was awarded Best Dissertation by the University.  This has added to the Needhams roster of exceptional expertise in the field of resilience and business continuity.
